Drew Doughty is an All Star!

For the fifth year in a row, Drew Doughty will be heading to the NHL All Star Game. He’s been going every year since the Game was held in Columbus, Ohio, the last year the NHL decided it was okay to have fun at this event. (They introduced 3v3 at that year’s Game as a way to hopefully spice things up)

He’s had a few priceless moments, including not being very good in the skills competition.

And who could forget when PK Subban decided to crash Doughty’s interview?

And then there was the time he accidentally swore on live television

This season, the Ontario-born defenseman is third on the team in points behind Dustin Brown and Anze Kopitar and is second behind Jake Muzzin in goals with three. All in all, Doughty is a gem and an enjoyable player to watch during All Star Weekend because nobody has more fun than him.

There is potential to send Los Angeles Kings captain Kopitar to San Jose as a Last Man In. Starting tomorrow, fans can vote to ensure a worthy name makes it to the Bay Area for this prestigious event.
