- The Reign continue to make do without Kurtis MacDermid, who was suspended for 12 games because of this hit on San Diego's Matt Bailey.
- Kris Newbury is out for the Reign indefinitely, which is why Derek Army (yes, seriously) was called up. Army slid in almost seamlessly for Newbury on Saturday night; we'll see how he performs on Sunday./

- Mark Morris, who helmed the Manchester Monarchs from 2006-14, is in his first year as Checkers head coach.
- 2015 SHL MVP Derek Ryan sits fifth in AHL scoring with 30 points.
- Charlotte is on an nine-game points streak that has seen seven wins.
- Brock McGinn was called up on Saturday night, leaving his spot on a Charlotte scoring line in question./
