Poll of the Day: Do you want the Hawks or the Wings to win tonight?

Chicago entered the postseason as the favorite in the West. They not only ran away with the regular season, and were the only team to come close to the Kings in terms of puck possession.

Now, the Detroit Red Wings could end their playoff hopes tonight. Playoff hockey is the best.

Jonathan Toews was called for three penalties in the first half of the second period, saw the Red Wings score, and had a total meltdown in the penalty box. Seabrook had to skate over and tell him to pull it together. The captain probably didn’t want his last “must win” game to turn out that way — he’ll have to battle for redemption tonight.

Detroit came into the postseason as a very underrated #7 seed. They have altered their style of play a bit from the Lidstrom era, but still boast solid possession stats themselves. Zetterberg and Datsyuk are beasts.

Jimmy Howard has also been brilliant in net. By that I mean “Almost as good as Jonathan Quick.”

Our old friend Michal “Sad Ostrich Face” Handzus is the Blackhawks’ second line center. (Really!) Jamie Kompon is their special teams coach. (Ahem!)

Are you watching tonight? Who would you rather see win?

This should be a doozy.

Which team would you rather see win tonight?

Red Wings 27
Blackhawks 15
Not rooting for either of ’em, so there 5
