The story coming in was Milan Lucic, but the story quickly became the Los Angeles Kings‘ offense (and, to a lesser extent, the Boston Bruins‘ defense). 57 shots and nine goals later, Lucic was taking a postgame lap of honor in front of a crowd that was booing their own team just a minute earlier. Nine different goalscorers, 15 players with a point, 3-3 on the power play, and after an uncertain first 20 minutes, LA unleashed everything they had.
