- Per Jon Rosen, the following players appeared in last night’s game and will also be playing tonight:
Andy Andreoff, Jordan Weal, Brian O’Neill, Justin Auger, Nick Shore, Michael Mersch and Derek Forbort. - “Andreoff, who had a strong performance on Monday, will get a look at left wing alongside Weal and O’Neill, while Mersch will slot to the right of Auger and Shore.”
- Tonight we get our first look at a potential Lucic-Kopitar-Gaborik line in an actual game(ish) setting (not just a scrimmage).
- Tonight we will also see far more NHL vets including the duo of Muzzin and Doughty while Ehrhoff will make his Kings debut.
- Jordan Weal was all over the puck in the offensive zone last night. He’ll need to have another strong night again if he has hopes of impressing Darryl Sutter and Dean Lombardi.
- Nick Nickson also praised Forbort for a strong game so it’ll be interesting to see how he does with a much less experienced partner tonight.
