...and although I'm sure a lot of people probably think that's over-payment, I think he's worth every penny. Of course, I am the guy who said two weeks after he joined the Kings two years ago that the Kings would retire his number. I also said I would rather have him than Bouwmeester (maybe I overstated, but I do that). But, as I have pointed out before, when he was with the Kings, he would have led all rookies in the league in points (including Doughty), but he wasn't a rookie, because he had played six games the previous year, instead of five.
