Rank the Players: Brawl All Over

And it all started with a line brawl…

Best NHL Goalies

A fight-filled first led to a second period in which the Los Angeles Kings got the most of the chances and the least of the goals. As with the teams’ prior matchup, LA quickly responded to Anaheim’s two-goal lead with a tally of their own, though this time it wasn’t ruled offside ten minutes later. Unfortunately, continued chances went begging, and by the time Darryl Sutter finally pulled his goalie with 1:10 left the Kings were out of steam.

In the end, it was everything we feared: inability to stop the Ducks’ power play, a fortunate goal for the Ducks off their own guy’s shoulder, and lots of physicality and zone time which didn’t pay off. Recap to come.
