Rank the Players: "Nothing is Easy These Days"
Nick Nickson's words prove true, as an easy win once again turns into a nail-biter late.
ZNick Nickson's exasperation came through loud and clear at the final commercial break, after the cruising Los Angeles Kings allowed a strangely bouncing goal to Lars Eller to narrow the gap to 3-2. Fortunately, after the commercial break, the Kings did indeed make it look easy as they finished off the Montreal Canadiens. Rank 'em:
Tanner Pearson stayed hot, Dwight King scored the game-winner by nicking the puck from PK Subban, and Ben Scrivens and Jonathan Quick both flailed a lot. Aside from that, it was a bit dull, leading Nick Nickson to discuss one of his favorite SNL skits (The Cheerleaders) and Jim Fox to talk about Bob Miller's wife's famous quiche (delicious).

Regardless, there are always plot lines, including a debut for Kris Versteeg and the Kings finally scoring more than two goals in a game. Recap to come!
