Rank the Players: Pearson, Kings Finally #BeatSJ In OT
LA survived a third period onslaught and overcame history to win Game 3 in OT.
The Los Angeles Kings had taken the San Jose Sharks to playoff overtime five times. They had lost five times. This time, they made sure Tanner Pearson had a chance to win it.
Thumbs ups and thumbs down below!
Pearson scored twice in overtime during the regular season, and after a huge Dustin Brown hit and a nifty Dustin Brown chip gave Pearson a 2-on-1 with Vincent Lecavalier, Pearson elected to go five-hole. Worth mentioning: Joonas Donskoi tried to beat Quick in the exact same spot seven-hole just a minute earlier, and Quick denied him.
More in the recap, including LA somehow managing to let San Jose score on their first shot yet again!
