So factor in the infuriating double-penalty and ensuing 5-on-3, the predictable third-period onslaught, the inability to stop Joe Pavelski… you know, all that stuff.
What else is there to say? Lots of optimists are highlighting San Jose’s playoff-worst home record as a possible lifeline for LA, but honestly, two one-goal losses don’t quite exemplify how much the Kings have struggled so far. One more game like this in San Jose is bad, bad news.
