- Mike Stothers told Reign Insider that he "thinks" Paul Bissonnette will make his first appearance in two months tonight. According to Mayor's Manor, he isn't concerned with Peter Budaj's workload this season. Stutts also likes the way practices have been going this week, "We're prepared."
- Sean Backman led Ontario with 11 points against San Jose this season; Michael Mersch paced the team with five goals. Budaj went 9-2, posting a 1.52 GAA and .934 save %.

- According to the San Jose Barracuda, "the AHL affiliates for the SJ Sharks and LA Kings have met twice before in the Calder Cup playoffs in Worcester and Manchester. In 2010, the Manchester Monarchs defeated the Worcester Sharks 4-2 in the Division Final and the Monarchs also defeated the Worcester Sharks in the Division Semifinal 4-2 in 2007."
- 2015-16 Barracuda Player Awards: Carpenter (MVP, Man of Year), Goldobin (Rookie of the Year), Dell (3 Stars).
- Bryan Lerg topped the Cuda with eight points versus the Reign; Lerg, Trevor Parkes, and Jeremy Langlois led the way with three goals apiece. Aaron Dell went 3-2-2, registering a remarkable 1.84 GAA and .944 save %.
