I would say slim, and none. Lukowich, with his two Stanley Cup rings, would be a decent depth defenseman pick-up. Ryan Jones, on the other hand, is just one of those Lombardi-type players (leader, former captain, gritty, blue-paint…). I would be surprised if Jones even gets past Edmonton. Of course, they are stupid, so anything’s possible.
[UPDATE: but not that stupid. Oilers claimed Ryan Jones this morning.]
