First year defender Brandt Clarke was named to the AHL’s All-Rookie Team for the 2023-24 season.

Clarke has a ridiculous 42 points (9-33-42) in 47 games played with the Ontario Reign this year. His point total far and away leads defensemen on the team and is good enough for eighth among all blueliners in the AHL, most of whom have played significantly more games than him. In his brief stint with the Los Angeles Kings this season, Clarke dressed in 16 games and tallied two goals and four assists. At just 21 years old, the Ottawa native is looking increasingly comfortable at the pro level and has a bright future ahead of him.
