Kings at Golden Knights, Feb. 7: Lines, gamethread & how to watch

After three straight losses, the Los Angeles Kings will see the Vegas Golden Knights again for an afternoon affair on Super Bowl Sunday.

On the way to a 5-2 loss, the Kings also lost Martin Frk to injury in his first game of the season against the Golden Knights on Friday. It’s been a run of bad luck for Kings forwards, as Andreas Athanasiou and Blake Lizotte remain on the COVID-19 protocols. Defense and goaltending are already an area of concern, but at least early in the season, they showed some scoring promise.

Unfortunately, Vegas is a powerhouse, with two steady netminders to boot, and today won’t be easy for the Kings. Max Pacioretty, William Karlsson and Nicolas Hague were in on three of the five goals scored against LA on Friday. Mark Stone also had a multi-point game.
