The Florida Panthers took a gamble and started rookie Spencer Knight, the 19th overall pick in the 2019 NHL Draft, in a pivotal Game 5, and he backstopped them to a 4-1 win in his postseason debut. Knight has yet to lose an NHL game signing with the Panthers. Still, the Tampa Bay Lightning need just win in the next two games to advance.
West Division First Round

The Colorado Avalanche are waiting to find out who their second round opponent will be after they swept the St. Louis Blues in four games.
