Jewelcast 27: Underground Kings Live
We'll preview tonight's upcoming game so, uh, maybe listen to this one live.
For the first time this season, the Kings are playing on the same night as our humble little podcast, so think of us as your underground pregame show tonight. Andrew Leafman will return from his college finals-imposed exile to co-host for the first time in weeks! In addition, we'll be joined by Mike FAIL (@mikefail) from Matchsticks & Gasoline to tell us all about the excitement of losing eight in a row! Of course, the Kings are playing the Flames tonight, so he's very relevant and happening and such. He's also possibly the most excited any single person has ever been to appear on the Jewelcast, so expect big things from him!
You can listen in live starting at 6:00 pacific/9:00 eastern by heading over to our episode page, or by using the live stream I've embedded below. You'll also find a Skype click-to-talk button on the episode page should you want to join us on the air, or can call in via more traditional means by dialing 347-850-1179. If you wanna share your thoughts in 140 characters-or-less, tweet to the hashtag #jewelcast. Should you miss the show live it will be archived shortly afterwards here (using the same player), on our Itunes feed, and now via Stitcher as well! As always, enjoy the show.
EDIT: Contrary to my fears, we actually barely talked about tonight's Kings-Flames game at all, instead talking about the Flames in a very general sense with Mike and then recapping the Kings' previous week. So this episode should be fine to download after all, shouldn't be all out-of-date analysis on a game you've already watched! Yay!
