Postgame Thread: IT WAS FOUR-ONE!
And it finished 4-2. Kings win!
So, the gamethread did not get published today. In lieu of that, here's a postgame reaction thread on a good night for the Los Angeles Kings. Five facts to hold you over until we publish the recap:
- Jeff Carter had TEN shots on goal. He picked up just one goal, meaning that his shooting percentage was below-average... in a game that he scored. That doesn't happen too often. (Also, I hope he shoots this much in Sochi.)
- One bright spot for the Boston Bruins: Justin Florek scored his first career goal. Good for you, buddy!
- Justin Williams, in his 800th career game, scored his 14th goal of the season.
- The Kings picked up 35 shots on goal, after notching 49 and 40 in their previous two contests. Rough night.
- Since he talked about how awful he's been this season, Dustin Brown has notched two goals in three games.
Let us know what you thought about the game!
