Kings release full 2021 schedule and game start times

The NHL announced a 56-game schedule on December 23, 2020, to begin on January 13, 2021 and run through May 8, with a new divisional alignment. On Monday, the league announced all of the game start times, completing the schedule for the 2021 season, which will see intradivisional play only.

The Los Angeles Kings will open the season at Staples Center without fans, hosting West Division newcomers, the Minnesota Wild and Colorado Avalanche, each for a two-game series. They’ll then hit the road to meet the other new addition, the St. Louis Blues, right after that.

The schedule is packed, with the Kingss playing every other night throughout January and 9 total back-to-backs, including a back-to-back series against the Colorado Avalanche to close out the season on May 7 and May 8. The 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs will begin on May 11, with the top four teams in each division making the postseason.

You can view and download the full schedule on the Kings’ website.

Currently, the Kings are set to appear on NBCSN nationally three times this season. In March they’ll appear on NBCSN’s Sunday Night Hockey twice, against the Vegas Golden Knights and Colorado Avalanche. They’ll also appear on the NBCSN’s Wednesday Night Hockey schedule against Vegas in April. No California teams made the NHL on NBC schedule for 2021.
