The Minnesota Wild are set to return tonight after temporarily suspending operations due to an outbreak of COVID-19 among their players. They last face the Colorado Avalanche in a 2-1 loss on February 2.
That pause also postponed the first meeting of this two-game series against the Los Angeles Kings scheduled for last Saturday, taking away the tension that comes with seeing the same team twice in a row.
But the Kings have plenty of frustration with the Wild as it is, having face them four times already in January. The Kings won just one of those four games so far.
