Off-Day Watch 10/4: Hockey Starts ... For Everyone Else
The rest of the league is already getting at it, but we’ve still got time to kill before the Kings kick off their season.
IT’S HERE.
Well, almost here. We’ve still got another day.
We don’t have much say in it, but when the Kings take the ice on Friday, let’s hope the Kings take a page of the Capitals’ book last night, instead of channeling the Bruins. Yikes.

Watch This Tonight
Your NHL.com free game is the Minnesota Wild taking on the Colorado Avalanche at 6:00 Pacific time. Far be it for me to call a Wild game exciting, but maybe we’ll get a preview of what Nate MacKinnon has up his sleeve this year.
For more Pacific-relevant viewing, the Flyers take on the Golden Knights at 7:00 Pacific on NBCSN. Let’s stoke that Vegas-related ire early and often, folks.
