Off-Day Watch 11/22: Thanksgiving Edition

Happy Thanksgiving Kings fans! I hope the Kings putting up another clunker last night did not ruin the start of your Holiday weekend. I for one am thankful that my NHL.TV feed stopped working during the second intermission and I only had to listen to the third period. Anyway, here’s some links and stories to read while you’re waiting for some turkey.

Kings Things

In case you missed it, All month long here at JFTC we have been posting about being thankful for each member of this current Kings team. Yesterday we talked about how we are thankful for Trevor Lewis. [JFTC]

The Kings released a new episode of Black and White last night about Dion Phaneuf’s 1000th game. [Kings]

At this rate, the odds of the Kings turning this around and making the playoffs are not very good. [Los Angeles Times]

Our friends at Mile High Hockey offer an opposing view of last night’s game. [Mile High Hockey]

And our very own running game log/recap of the debacle is up, too. [JFTC]

Elsewhere in the World

Flyers legend Bernie Parent and Rangers legend Mike Richter will be part of the Thanksgiving Day Parade today as part of the build up to Friday’s Thanksgiving Showdown. [NHL]

Your Evening Entertainment

It’s Thanksgiving so there’s no Hockey today, If you need a sports fix there will be plenty of football to watch. I’ll personally be watching Redskins-Cowboys at 4:30 ET on Fox.

I’m sure I speak for all of us at Jewels from the Crown when I say I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy the time with family and friends.
