Off-Day Watch 2/8; Winning Streak Edition

As an east coast Kings fan, the February “Grammy’s trip” is one of my favorite times of the hockey season. For a solid week or two I get to watch the Kings at normal times like 7:00 instead of having to stay up past midnight. It’s a nice break; of course, that break is always better when the Kings are winning and that’s what that road trip has been so far. Yes, there was the loss to the Islanders on Saturday, but even in that loss the Kings have been playing some solid hockey over the past week. The end of this road trip will be a true test though, with the Bruins on Saturday, and then, to close out the trip, a visit to the Stanley Cup Champs in DC (a game yours truly will be attending). On to the links!

Your Evening Entertainment

There’s only one game in the NHL tonight. The Carolina Hurricanes head into the Garden to face the Rangers in what should be an interesting division matchup. The game will be at 5:00 pm Pacific on NHL Network. [Editor’s note: You know we’ll never ever pass up a chance to tell you to watch Justin Williams, either.]
