- Brett Sutter appeared close to dressing Thursday night, but he didn't go out for warm-ups. Jonny Brodzinski may not be close to coming back, as he was seen around the arena wearing padding over his wrist.
- Ryan Horvat was taking part in battle drills during practice last week, so he probably isn't too far from being ready. That said, Michael Amadio has been stellar in the 4C role.
- Update: No changes except Nick Ebert in for Kevin Raine. Kris Newbury will start with Nic Dowd, while Sam Herr moves down with Andrew Crescenzi.
San Diego Gulls Lines
(based on last game)
Ritchie - Mueller - Kossila
Noesen - Wagner - Kase
Laganiere - Bailey - Tropp
Cramarossa - MacKinnon - McGrattan
Megna - Montour
Theodore - Welinski
Bickel - Cooper
Hackett
Faragher
- Matt Hackett performed ably in Anton Khudobin's stead on Thursday, but Khudobin's status is very much on everybody's mind going into tonight. Michael Sgarbossa was reportedly seen around CBBA in a walking boot, so his return may not be immediate. Rookie blueliner Andrew Welinski was victimized multiple times by Reign forwards in Game One, so he might be a candidate for a break.
- San Diego home games will be "White Out" themed.
- Updated: Looks like Anton Khudobin is still out and Matt Hackett back in...Harry Zolniercyzk, Jacob Larsson, and Joe Piskula appear to be in, while Andrew Welinski, Brian Cooper, and Kalle Kossila are out.
