Postgame/Rank the Players: Lecavalier & Schenn Chip In, Kings Win

The problem with the pull-the-goalie-earlier trend is that you’re a lot more likely to watch the Los Angeles Kings spend three minutes fighting off a 6-man attack. They never even close to scoring! Thankfully, neither did Toronto…

… lol jk they almost scored like five times

Time to rank the players! And look, two new guys make their first appearances in the list! Vote vote vote!

Best Hockey Players of All Time

All in all, you couldn’t have asked for too much more from Vincent Lecavalier and Luke Schenn. Neither dominated the game, but that’s not what LA wants. What did happen? Lecavalier set up a goal and Schenn was out defending a one-goal lead. Good start, boys.

Aside from that, James Reimer was terrific, the only reason why LA didn’t win by three or four goals. Jeff Carter scored upon his return from injury.

More in the recap, including why Drew Doughty threw the most justified fit of his career.
