Notes:
- Oh, right, Anze Kopitar is injured.
- Oh, right, Ryan Johansen is on the Predators now.
- Oh, right, Mike Ribeiro still exists.
- Nashville, of course, hosted this year's All-Star Game, which gave them a lot of positive exposure. Hopefully, Drew Doughty and Jonathan Quick can recapture the magic of that weekend.
- One story lost in that weekend: Pekka Rinne, who was an All-Star, was having an off season. Since that All-Star Game, Rinne has lost four of six starts, but a shutout in his last game brought his save percentage all the way up to... .904. Ouch.
- As for LA... I like that fourth line. Is it just me?
- Anaheim's next three games are against Calgary, Buffalo, and Edmonton. Thankfully, the same is true after this game for the Kings. Winning this game is crucial in order for LA to keep any sort of advantage in the Pacific Division standings.
- PREDICTION: Kings 4, Predators 3, in overtime.
Jeff Carter sensing a chance to reclaim his son from Anze Kopitar.
