Rank the Players: “Good Night, and Goodbye”

With Shea Theodore’s overtime goal, the 2016-17 season came to an end for the Los Angeles Kings. Rank the Players one more time:

Bob Miller didn’t get the storybook ending tonight against the Anaheim Ducks, but we all got a full dose of 2016-17 LA KINGS… early goals allowed, posts, Quick magic, Pacific intensity, an Iginla sighting, and some overtime. We only diverted in two ways: the Kings managed to score three goals on only 18 shots, and the overtime ended with a loss. LA finished their season with 86 points, their lowest total since 2008-09, good for 22nd overall. Not good enough.

The lasting memory of this game, however, will be Bob Miller signing off.

“For now, with Anaheim winning in overtime, the end is here for me. So the only thing I have to say is: good night, and goodbye.”
