Rank the Players: Kings Once Again Need a Few Extra Minutes

And that's okay, as they win it in overtime on yet another Alec Martinez game-winner.

I know, I'm a little exasperated too. The Kings seem physically unable to win a game without requiring some form of post-regulation heroics. Having said that, if Alec Martinez scores 20 overtime goals this season... wouldn't that just be the best?

Rank the Kings after their dramatic overtime victory against Columbus:

cAll things considered, it was a really solid performance from the Kings overall. Peter Budaj had his best game in a Kings uniform (I know, low bar, but stay with me). Nic Dowd and Nick Shore both put in solid work in the bottom six. Devin Setoguchi still looks like a legitimate NHLer. With three trophies in the building, the guys who won them scored LA's regulation goals. And though the Kings had letdowns in the second and in the latter stages of the third, the rest of the game was a clinic.

More to come in the recap. SPOILER: Tanner Pearson, Tyler Toffoli, and Alec Martinez go on the ice together in overtime.
