Rank the Players: Starting from the Bottom

Lots of offensive heroes to choose from tonight. Rank the Los Angeles Kings after a come-from-behind 6-4 win over the Edmonton Oilers:

The Kings went down 2-0 in a lifeless first period in a lifeless first period. Once that phase of the game ended, though, the Kings not only kept pace with those speedy Oilers, they started getting pucks past Cam Talbot. Shore! Brown! Nic Dowd! Trevor Lewis! (In that order!) Oh, and Tanner Pearson, but that was less surprising. Drew Doughty’s empty-netter finally put the game to rest after Jonathan Quick fended off juuuust enough of the Oilers’ efforts on goal to keep LA in front. Shore assisted on Doughty’s long shot, earning himself four — yes, FOUR — points on the evening.

I know this hurts LA’s draft position or whatever, but watching Brodzinski, Kyle Clifford, and the above-mentioned goalscorers carry the Kings’ offense? That was well worth the trade-off. Maybe those guys stay as the bottom six, eh?
