who are these guys what do they want game preview bos

The Boston Bruins and the Los Angeles Kings have virtually identical records (Kings are one point up). The Bruins have won three in a row. The Kings have lost three in a row. The Bruins are first overall in GAA and second overall in PK. The Kings’ PP is a giant streaming pile of something that dropped out of the wrong side of a sick dog. People who never get to see the Kings are now calling me and saying, wow, I saw that game last night [any of several games], your power play is so static/obvious/predictable/indecisive. My advice: put Andrei Loktionov on the off wing, and let Brayden Schenn center the first unit, with Anze Kopitar planted in front of the net. What’s that? Oh, those two guys are in Manchester? Okay, Scott Parse then. … Oscar Moller? All right. Options are limited, then. But the one thing I wouldn’t do is just keep to the same plan, with Kopitar standing on a tether at the boards, telegraphing passes that I can intercept from home.

I bet that’s what they do, though.
