Jonathan Quick has wrist surgery, out 10-12 weeks.

As first reported by Puck Daddy, Jonathan Quick underwent surgery today to repair an injured wrist. The injury was sustained during the Ducks series and was thought to be minor.

That diagnosis apparently changed and Quick went under the knife immediately. He will be out 10-12 weeks. A 12 week recovery would put him on track to return on September 16th. The Kings first preseason game is scheduled for Septemebr 22nd, so it would appear that he won’t miss any game action as long as his recovery goes as planned.

For Quick, this makes his performance in the Stanley Cup Final all the more impressive– he posted a .937 save percentage in those five games. In addition, he showed a lot of grit powering through his injury while throwing beers into the crowd during the Cup celebration in the South Bay:
