Quick and Doughty to Show Off in All-Star Skills Competition

Watch the skills competition here.

The two representatives of the Los Angeles Kings will be busy on Saturday, trying to help the Western Conference win the All-Star Skills Competition. (Oops, sorry, that’s the HONDA All-Star Skills Competition. It’s all about the sponsors.)

Jonathan Quick will play a role in the Breakaway Challenge, attempting to stop Brandon Saad, Evgeny Kuznetsov, and PK Subban’s escalating absurd shootout attempts. In addition to passing for the accuracy challenge, Drew Doughty will be shooting in the Skills Challenge Relay and taking a shootout attempt in the competition-ending free-for-all.

[EDIT: Quick has switched spots with Rinne, presumably because he would have tried his hardest to stop every shot. He’ll now be in the Shootout Challenge.]

Here’s the full Western Conference lineup, as chosen by the captains.
