The Los Angeles Kings announced that they have reached deals with four of their remaining restricted free agents.
Forward Mike Amadio and defensemen Daniel Brickley and Matt Roy all signed two-year deals with average annual values of $700,000. Forward Sheldon Rempal signed a one-year contract for $874,125, the same amount as his qualifying offer.
After Alex Iafallo signed his new contract last week, goalie Cal Petersen and forward Adrian Kempe are the only remaining restricted free agents in need of new contracts.
Amadio will be starting his fourth full professional season. The 23-year old recorded 13 points (six goals, seven assists) in 43 NHL games during the 2018-19 season, playing largely fourth line minutes in a more defensive role. Amadio has excelled in the AHL, with 102 points in 128 career games. While with the Ontario Reign last season, Amadio most frequently centered the first line and played alongside veteran Matt Moulson. Amadio would have to pass back through waivers in order to be assigned to the AHL in the 2019-20 season.

Roy, a 24-year old defenseman, made his NHL debut this past season, recording six points (two goals, four assists) in 25 games over the latter portion of the season. The Kings did tend to score more goals than their opponents while Roy was on the ice, but they also gave up more shots against, particularly in high-danger areas in front of the net.
Brickley, a 24-year old defenseman, had a challenging season with the Reign, dealing with the adjustment to professional hockey, injuries, and personal tragedy with the illness and death of his father. He played 42 games for the Reign, scoring two goals and 10 assists. He also appeared in four games with the Kings, recording one assist.
Rempal, 23, was signed as a free agent at the conclusion of the 2017-18 college season and made his professional debut with the Reign in 2018-19. Rempal recorded 40 points (15 goals, 25 assists) in 59 games with the Reign. He also skated in seven games for the Kings. He represented the Reign at the 2019 AHL All-Star Classic.
Roy, Brickley, and Rempal are all waivers-exempt and can currently be freely moved between the AHL and NHL. All four players will be restricted free agents at the conclusions of their respective contracts.
